I was constantly uplifted and encouraged to explore myself, my identity, and my artwork. Mr. Cook at Platt was always enthusiastic about trying new mediums, experimenting with “out there” ideas, and in fine tuning my own unique artistic voice. I also had an incredible support system of teachers, interns, and counselors throughout many other departments that were willing to give me extra support through mental health struggles and moments of intense self-doubt. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without them.
