Approved Apps / Software
The following is a list of software that meets the State of Connecticut data privacy and security requirements of PA 16-189/18-125 and can be used with students. More information about these vendors may be found on the MPS Student Data Privacy page.
Vendors who have pledged to meet the requirements of the state law can be found at the State of Connecticut Educational Software Hub (users new to the site need to create an account). Apps found in the CT Learn Library may be used with students if all terms of use and privacy policies are adhered to. This may include, but is not limited to, obtaining parental permission for use with students. Teachers should read these documents careful to ensure they are in compliance.
