I'm Charged Initiative

The Meriden Public Schools is engaged in a digital transformation that supports student-centered learning.  The I'm Charged! Initiative is designed to recognize teachers who leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and meaningfully integrate technology into the classroom as evidenced by six I'm Charged! Initiative Criteria. Teachers are encouraged to review this criteria before submitting an application.

Applications are reviewed by a committee of existing I'm Charged! teachers and the Director of Technology.  After a classroom visit, recommendations are submitted to the Superintendent of Schools for final approval.

While new applications are accepted throughout the school year, teachers wishing to be considered for I'm Charged! status should refer to the following application review schedule for the 2025-2026 school year.
