The Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations provides executive leadership across the school system's educational programs and administrative functions. The Assistant Superintendent exercises oversight of Middle Schools and district-wide programs in Arts, Music, Physical Education, Athletics, Adult Education, and the Success Academy Alternative Education Program. In addition, the Assistant Superintendent oversees the Meriden School Business Administrator and the district budget. The Assistant Superintendent also provides strategic leadership across departments to ensure a high level of service within all program areas.
