Platt provided me with a solid foundation to succeed in high school and beyond. The academic curriculum challenged me to learn and expand my knowledge in each subject matter. Participating in sports, I learned the importance of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition. All critical tools to help one thrive personally and professionally beyond high school. I would also like to highlight two educators who were great influences during my high school journey with MPS. These two individuals inspired me in many ways and positively impacted my life. Dianne Vumback, who is now Assistant Superintendent for Montville Public Schools. And James Flynn, who is now Assistant Principal at Maloney.
