School Safety and Security Courses Required for School Personnel

At a minimum, completion of the following no-charge, on-line course by all school personnel, including teachers, substitute or student teachers, administrators, secretaries, custodial staff, nurses, etc .. ) This course should be completed during the school year beginning July 1, 2014, and taken by all incoming or other new personnel during the year or before the start of any subsequent school year:

Completion of the following additional online courses for all principals, superintendents, School Safety and Security Committee members and incident command/unified command designees or participants (those individuals who may assume key roles in an emergency). These courses should be completed during the school year beginning July 1, 2014, and taken by all appropriate incoming personnel during the year or before the start of any subsequent school year:
