After graduating from Maloney, Mark went on to get his bachelor's degree from FIT, and began his career on a Western Geophysical 3D marine seismic crew after obtaining a MSc in Oceanographic Technology. He also holds an MBA in Technology Management. Since graduation, Mark has held a variety of global leadership positions in marine seismic operations, support, and technology with WesternGeco, including Applied Technology Marine Manager, Global Operations Support Manager, and Vice President for Southeast Asia. After leaving WesternGeco, Mark joined Schlumberger and served as Manager of Quality Systems and Practices as well as Performance Systems. After retiring from Schlumberger, Mark recently assumed the position of Chief Technology Officer at Magseis Fairfield, the global leading provider of ocean bottom seismic technology and data acquisition projects. He currently resides in Oslo, Norway.
