I think Maloney really prepared us to be aware of what was happening in the world around us & to have active dialogue about those things & be open to unique & diverse perspectives. One of my most memorable classes was Mr. DeFalco's Current Events/History class where we read Newsweek magazine & discussed/debated current events. That course led me to just be naturally curious about the world & the people in it which has served me well throughout my life & in my current career in journalism.
