Mrs. Enileika Lopez-Riddle was elected to the Meriden Board of Education in November 2023 and currently serves as Treasurer. She is the Chair of the Finance Committee, a member of both the Curriculum Committee and Contracts Committee, and acts as the City Council Liaison. In these roles, she is committed to ensuring fiscal responsibility, advancing educational excellence, and fostering strong partnerships between the Board and the community.
A lifelong Meriden resident and proud alumna of Meriden Public Schools, Mrs. Lopez-Riddle deeply values the city’s educational system. Together with her husband, Darius is also a Meriden Public Schools graduate . They are raising two children who currently attend Meriden schools. This personal connection drives her passionate advocacy for ALL students, ensuring equitable opportunities and a supportive learning environment. As active and engaged parents, the Lopez-Riddle family is a cornerstone of community involvement.
Professionally, Mrs. Lopez-Riddle is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in operational leadership and strategic planning. She also serves as Chair of the Human and Social Advisory Board and is Co-President of the Washington Middle School Parent-Teacher Group (PTG). Her leadership extends beyond her professional career into volunteerism and civic engagement, where she consistently champions initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
