School Volunteer Program

Meriden has an active and widely recognized School Volunteer Program. It operates throughout the school system. New participants are recruited throughout the school year. Volunteers provide tutorial services to classrooms, clerical assistance in the school library/media centers, computer and secretarial help in the school offices.

The Meriden School Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for community members and businesses to become more familiar with our school sand for school staff to develop a more personal relationship with parents, community members, and businesses.
