Password Recovery Instructions

If you have previously configured your password recovery options in ClassLink, Please follow the directions below to recover and set a new password. If you have not configured your password recovery options in ClassLink please contact the Help Desk for further support.

 

At the Classlink login page click "Help I forgot my password"

ClassLink Login Screen: Click Help I forgot my password

Enter your windows user name (typically firstname.lastname)

Click the Recovery option you wish to use

CLick on the recovery option you wish to use. SMS Text Message, email or questions.

Details for each option follow:

SMS Text  – When you click on SMS Text you will receive the following message. Enter the code from the text message on your phone and click the checkmark.

Select a new password, enter it again to confirm and click the checkmark. The password must meet the minimum password requirements. Please contact the Help Desk for the minimum password requirements.

Email – When you click on “Email” you will receive the following message.

Open the password reset link in the recovery email sent to your personal email.

Select a new password, enter it again to confirm and click the checkmark. The password must meet the minimum password requirements. Please contact the Help Desk for the minimum password requirements.

Questions – When you click on “Questions” you will be asked for answers to your security questions. Enter the answers to your security questions and click the checkmark.
