This summer Meriden will be participating in the USDA Summer Meals Program which provides nutritious lunches to children under the age of 18 free of charge. The locations providing lunches with the dates and time of service are listed below.

New Opportunities Summer Food Services Program

For many kids, summertime means food, friends and fun. However during summer months family food budgets have to be stretched even further.

New Opportunities of Greater Meriden (NOGM) administers the Summer Food Services Program at multiple locations in Meriden to children 18 and under throughout summer vacation. This gives children and teens in the community the ability to enjoy the same nutritious breakfasts and lunches that are available to them during the school year through the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.
