The Food and Nutrition Services Program provides breakfasts and lunches in all Meriden Public Schools and Thomas Edison Middle School to all students at no charge. Food and Nutrition Services ensures that all meals served meet the Dietary Guidelines for Americans as well as providing students and the school community with nutrition education and information. The Food and Nutrition Services Program works closely with the City of Meriden’s Health Department to ensure that healthy meals are being served in a safe cafeteria environment for the students of Meriden.
