We are thrilled to announce that we offer MyPaymentsPlus (www.mypaymentsplus.com), a state-of-the-art online service that offers you the convenience and information you need to manage your student’s meal account.
MyPaymentsPlus is an innovative tool that allows any parent to:
- Log-in at www.mypaymentsplus.com at no cost to check student’s meal account balances and monitor the food items your student purchases at school.
- Create settings at no cost to automatically receive a notification email when the balance on your student’s account is low.
- Funds deposit drectly into your student's meal accounts when making payments at www.mypaymentsplus.com. A program fee of 4.75% applies each time you make a deposit. Meriden Public Schools does not receive this fee. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
- There is no cost to create an account, set up low balance email notifications or check purchase history and account balances!
Cash transactions at the register are time consuming, sometimes overwhelming, and decrease the amount of time that your child has to eat. Advance deposits on account allow for a single debit purchase, enhancing and improving your child’s dining experience. To make a prepayment online visit www.mypaymentsplus.com.
We will also be accepting payments in the form of a check or money order made out to Meriden Public Schools Cafeteria Fund. Checks should include your child’s student identification number and can be mailed to the Food Service Department at 22 Liberty Street, Meriden, CT 06450.
It is of utmost importance that schools and parents partner to guide students in nutritional choices, and MyPaymentsPlus provides a way to do that. We strongly encourage all parents (even if you do not prepay for your student’s meal account) to create an account at no cost through www.mypaymentsplus.com and remain involved in you student’s nutritional decisions. To create a new account, follow the onscreen directions to register your student using their nine-digit Student ID number. You will need to add zeroes to the front of your student’s ID to make it nine digits. For example: if your student’s ID is 1234, you would put it in as 000001234; if their number was 12345, you would put it in as 000012345. You only need to enter their ID number when you are first registering your student on this site.
For those who do wish to prepay into their student’s meal account, MyPaymentsPlus offers a convenient way to do so by visiting www.mypaymentsplus.com from anywhere, at any time. This convenient system will eliminate the need to send cash or checks to school or worry about lost or forgotten lunch money, and speeds up serving lines in the cafeteria.
The policy of the Food Services Program is to pay for breakfasts and/or lunches before they are eaten. You can pay for meals in advance on your child's account utilizing cash, a personal check, money order or by using our online prepayment system, MyPaymentsPlus at www.mypaymentsplus.com. A student with insufficient funds in their account or insufficient funds at the time of service may not be allowed to purchase the meal of his or her choice as per our administrative guidelines for food service charges.
