The Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Administration oversees the school system’s classified personnel, data processing, business, transportation, food services, athletics and maintenance and custodial programs, providing leadership to insure a high level of service within these program areas. The Assistant Superintendent is instrumental in developing and maintaining a yearly budget for the school system. The Office of the Assistant Superintendent serves as staff to the City of Meriden School Building Committee and is responsible for the daily monitoring of all School Building Committee projects.
